Drumming Workshop. April 1 Saturday. Learn to make the drum sing while playing rhythms from around the world. We will concentrate mostly on rhythms from West Africa, Haiti, Cuba, and Brazil, using the conga. I will provide drums, you provide the hands. We will learn rhythm and culture in this one-day workshop. This is for beginners and those with experience. Let’s have some fun playing music together. Bring your own drum if you have one.
